About Fab Pfarm
Hi, I'm Landon.
Like many makers, my journey started with curiosity - specifically, wondering how I could bring digital designs into the physical world. After diving deep into 3D printing and spending countless hours tweaking, calibrating, and learning, I discovered something interesting: many people in our Austin community needed access to quality 3D printing, but didn't want to navigate the learning curve of owning a printer themselves.
That's how Fab Pfarm was born, right here in Pflugerville.
Why "Fab Pfarm"?
The name combines "fabrication" with Pflugerville's agricultural roots. Just like traditional farming is about growing things from the ground up, we're growing ideas into reality, one layer at a time. Starting with a focus on quality and precision, we're building a print farm dedicated to delivering consistent, reliable results.
What Drives Me
I believe in the power of local, sustainable manufacturing. There's something special about helping someone turn their idea into something tangible, especially with quick turnaround times and reliable delivery. Our focus on quality and precision means every print gets individual attention.
When I'm not monitoring prints or fine-tuning settings, you'll find me working alongside my unique quality control team - a mix of furry, feathered, and finned supervisors who ensure every print meets their high standards.
Technical Excellence
Quality starts with attention to detail. Every print begins with careful file analysis and optimization. We maintain precise calibration and monitoring throughout the printing process, ensuring consistent, reliable results. This methodical approach helps us deliver prints that meet exacting standards.
Looking Forward
While Fab Pfarm is starting modestly, the vision is clear: grow into a full-fledged print farm that serves our local community with professional-grade capabilities. I'm scaling thoughtfully, reinvesting in equipment and continuously improving processes. Not aiming to be the biggest overnight, but to grow sustainably while maintaining quality and personal service.
